What are the minimum numbers?
If you want to join our normal weekend public
sessions there is no minimum - come alone if you
like and we will put you into teams with others.
For private groups there is no minimum numbers,
rather a minimum price of $600 based on a minimum
of 30 players.
For larger groups please call for a quote. Ph:
1300 665 620 or 0418 151 888.
What do I bring?
- For all sessions bring insect repellent,
covered shoes and a water bottle. Many players
also bring their own two way radios for team
communications and to listen in on the enemy's
channel. If it is your first time make sure
you bring completed and appropriately signed
membership forms.
- For the Under 10's, you must wear your own
long pants (dark camouflage is best). We will
supply a long sleeve cammo shirt.
- For Over 10's a complete camo coverall outfit
is provided so we recommend that you come in
shorts and a t-shirt and then pull our clothes
over the top.
- We recommend that you don't bring a hat,
because we provide special hats to all players
to designate teams and to mount the sensors
on.
- It is a condition of play that every must
wear covered shoes. WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH:
NO SHOES = NO PLAY!!!
- Print out the membership form, read and sign
it before you come out. This will save a lot
of time and means that you can start playing
sooner. If you are under 18 the form must be
signed by your parent or legal guardian. CLICK
HERE FOR THE FORM.
What if it rains?
We play, unless it is a thunderstorm. If we have
to abandon play, we refund pro-rata on time. Playing
in the rain is very authentic :)
How do you die??, Once
you die is that it, end of your day??
No, that would be way too hard! We are not quite
that mean...really! When you are "killed"
you go back to your base and get re-spawned. A
"re-spawn" is when you have been tagged
out, your gun is automatically disabled and you
return to your start point where the referee turns
your gun on with his/her key and throws you back
into the game. In the more advanced missions there
are limited respawns.
How do I know your dead?
The guns says on the display "dead",
you gun won't work anymore and there is a loud
death sound when you take the last hit point of
damage reducing your health to zero. When a player
dies, he must remove his/her hat immediately.
How do I know you have
hit someone?
Generally you can hear the ouch noise the opponents
guns make when the player is hit and you can hear
this at 40+ metres. Plus, all our Laser Skirmish
guns are fitted with the latest technology player
feedback system. There is a LED in each head sensor
that flashes when the unit takes a hit and stays
on when the player is “dead”. During
the time the gun is disabled on a hit, the hit
light flashes and therefore the firing player
knows to hold their next shot until the flashing
stops.
Which missions do we get to
play?
We play a variety of missions
to suit all players. If you are organising a private
group booking we can design missions to suit you.
Here's a sample of some of the game scenarios:
- Death Match - Eliminate the other team -
this mission each team gets unlimited replacements/re-spawns
. Replacements are taken from your base and
everyone gets 9 hit points (hits they can take
before they must go back and get a replacement).
The mission is over after a pre-set time (usually
30 minutes), the team that has taken the least
replacements wins. This mission is great warm-up
because every player, plays the whole mission
and its very forgiving of mistakes.
- Blow Up The Base - This mission is played
twice because one team is the attacker and one
team is the defender, so we want each team to
try both positions. This mission is to blow
the Claymore Mine at the base within 25 minutes,
the next team has to beat the time set by the
last. No Respawns after 20 minutes so it can
get really interesting in the last 5 minutes
of the game!
- Evacuate The General. Generals are selected
from each team. This is generally the birthday
boys or girls. The aim is to get the Generals
from A to B while keeping him or her alive for
15 minutes - when there is one minute to go
an announcement is made and the general must
get back within 60 seconds (and with at least
1 "life" left) to win. The General
wears a bright vest to make him /her visible
in the field.
- Last Man Standing. This is FUN! It's a crazy
shoot 'em down battle - form an alliance with
your mates and then shoot 'em in the back to
win!
- Got an idea for a mission - let us know!
How much does 1 game cost?
What do you get?...
We don't charge on a single game basis, we charge
per session, which is usually 2 1/2 hours (the
first half hour is your mission briefing, kit
out, photo opportunity etc). The current price
list can be found on our Sessions and Prices page
